Some women know and feel when they are pregnant but others may not. The very first sign that would make women think that they are pregnant is when they miss their monthly menstrual period. However, women should be sure that they are pregnant because some of the signs may be indicating some other things. Women need to understand too that the signs and the symptoms of early pregnancy that they may experience may be different from that of others. Some of them may feel the signs as early as the first week of conception. Others may feel it at a later stage while there are pregnant women who may not feel anything at all.

Though some women instinctively feel that they are pregnant, they would still like to confirm it. They may not understand exactly how they feel and what they like if they are at the early stages of pregnancy. For those who have been active sexually prior to missing their period, they may use a pregnancy test kit to make sure. Though women have missed their period, they may still go through some light bleeding at the onset of pregnancy. Pregnant women should not be scared about it unless the bleeding does not stop.

As women progresses with their pregnancy, they may feel some changes. They may feel their breasts swelling and may also experience breasts tenderness and soreness. Pregnant women usually experience morning sickness even at other times of the day. Though women may not feel comfortable, they may not suffer from nausea all throughout their pregnancy. However, some women may actually have this feeling until the last stages of their pregnancy. Pregnant women may also feel more tired and sleepy most of the time. They tend to stay in bed longer than usual.

Pregnant women may also have some difficulty controlling their bladder. They may feel like urinating more frequently. They may also experience some back pains because of the additional weight that their bodies have to carry. Their spine may be affected as they have to shift their posture to be able to carry the weight. Pregnant women may not be able to sleep properly especially if they cannot find the right position. They may use some pillows to help them feel comfortable in bed. Pregnant women may also crave for some kinds of foods that they usually do not eat. They may feel this craving throughout their pregnancy. Though symptoms may be different, women can confirm that they are pregnant by simply using some pregnancy test kit. They may also visit their doctors for some tests.
